I have the same experience with Kontakt 5 (and previous version), I always feel that the samples sound further inside the speakers, and kind of more vailed, or flat sounding, compared to UVI, and/or Halion 5. So I can control Omnisphere, Kontakt or any other Desktop VSTi with my iPad (or a usb controller too) and I can record midi either to Ableton OR BM3 ! Hopefully NI will improve the sound-engine of Kontakt in Kontakt 6 and make it sound much better than Kontakt 5, and previous versions. Just have to specify each IDAM IN and OUT on iPad side and select 'iPad' on Ableton Midi in MIDI IN & OUT of BM3 works perfectly too.Audio iPad OUT to Ableton Audio in works perfectly so I can record all my instrument app to an Ableton Session.Omnisphere and Trilian would be an amazing package but you better have deep pockets and a ton of spare hard disk space to consider this.
